Freddy Vences
Freddy founded Valley Futbol Club in July of 2021. Inspired by his son, Freddy was motivated to coach and soon put together the first team composed of his son, nephews, and close family friends. The goal was to allow them to play but, more importantly, to leave them a positive childhood experience they could never forget. "I want to make club soccer affordable because, as a kid, high club fees kept me from playing. It was simply unaffordable for my family". Established as a Nonprofit, Valley FC strives to make club soccer accessible and affordable for our San Fernando Valley Communities. Freddy is also our Legends Division Head coach (U10).
Vice president
Tony Vasquez
As the Vice President of Operations, Tony oversees and optimizes all operational aspects of our soccer club, ensuring efficient management of resources, implementation of strategic initiatives, and seamless coordination between various divisions. Tony is proudly responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and maintaining a high standard of quality in all club operations to support the achievement of our goals. Ever since Tony's arrival, Valley FC has leveled up, and we continue to grow. Tony has been with Valley FC since 2021.
Director of coaching
Alex Sanchez
As the Coaching Director, Alex's primary responsibility is to develop and oversee the coaching program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality coaching and player development initiatives throughout our soccer club. Alex is responsible for establishing and maintaining coaching standards, providing guidance and mentorship to coaches, and fostering a positive and supportive environment that nurtures the growth and potential of our players. Alex provides the balance this club needs, and has with Valley FC since 2021. He is also our Legends Division Assistant coach (U10).
Director of player development
Jose "Pepe" Martinez
As the Director of Scouting and Player Development, Jose's role is to lead the identification, evaluation, and recruitment of talented players for our soccer club while overseeing their long-term development and progression within the organization. Jose is also responsible for creating a comprehensive scouting network, implementing player development programs, and providing strategic guidance to ensure our teams' continuous improvement and success. Jose has been with Valley FC since 2022.
